Carla Roper

Carla Roper is an accomplished Employment and Labour Law Attorney, Educator, and Author with a wealth of experience in the legal field. She holds various degrees including a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Law from the University of South Africa, a Certificate of Legal Education from Norman Manley Law School, an LLM in Employment Law with distinction from the University of East Anglia, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of the West Indies.

Carla has contributed significantly to the legal and academic sectors. She serves as the Principal Consultant at Employment Matters Caribbean and has held prominent roles such as Adjunct Lecturer at the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica. Her past experiences include being the Regional Director of Labour Relations at Scotiabank, Deputy Director at the Legal Reform Department, Director of Legal Services at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security, as well as Clerk of Court at the Portland Resident Magistrates Court and the Family Court in Kingston and St. Andrew, Jamaica.
