Carla Nyquist

Carla Nyquist is an MPH (Master of Public Health) candidate at the Colorado School of Public Health, where she is focused on areas such as social and environmental justice, environmental health, and public health policy. She holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Environmental Science with a concentration in Conservation Biology and Cultural Anthropology from Colby College. Her academic and professional pursuits are driven by a commitment to bridging societal well-being with environmental health concerns.

In addition to her studies, Carla has experience in the non-profit sector and is actively engaged in social and environmental activism. She emphasizes the importance of food security, racial and gender equity, and economic justice in her work. Known for her adaptable and goal-oriented nature, she thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys connecting with diverse communities.13

Carla is currently based in the Greater Boston area and has taken on roles that enhance her expertise in public health, particularly focusing on air quality and environmental justice initiatives.12
