Carla Dodd's professional journey has been marked by a seamless transition from a Banking Coordinator at Pier 1 Imports to the role of Transportation Supervisor at Lake Worth ISD and eventually to her current prestigious position as the Director of Operations and Transportation at Lake Worth ISD since April 2014. Her foray into student transportation 8 years ago ignited a passion that has driven her to ensure the utmost safety for the students of Lake Worth ISD while focusing on innovative training for her drivers to excel in their roles. Carla aims to elevate the status of school bus drivers to paramount employees in education. She is an active member of various associations, including the Texas Association of Pupil Transportation (TAPT) and the Texas Association School Business Officials (TASBO), where she has earned certifications and holds positions, like being the Region XI TAPT Chapter Secretary. Carla Dodd operates in an environment where nurturing the learning experience of students is at the forefront, collaborating with a dedicated team to create a successful educational setting.
