Capt. Venkat

Capt. Venkat is a social entrepreneur and the founder of the Veteran Success Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting veterans in their transition from military to civilian life. Based in Hyderabad, India, he has a background as a Short Service Officer in the Indian Army, where he served in operational and counterinsurgency roles. His work focuses on helping veterans develop new skills and knowledge necessary for successful reintegration into civilian careers.1

In addition to the Veteran Success Foundation, Capt. Venkat is also the founder of Xainik, a platform aimed at connecting the Indian military community, and Faujnet.com, which supports soldiers in their transition to civilian life. He has been involved in these initiatives since 2009 and has received recognition in various media outlets for his contributions to veteran support.13

Capt. Venkat holds a postgraduate degree in Human Resources and Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and has lectured at several business schools. His commitment to improving the lives of veterans stems from a desire to address the challenges they face post-retirement, particularly the difficulties in finding employment.12
