David Hood is a social entrepreneur, strategic design specialist, and facilitator committed to building better futures by helping communities, government, not-for-profit organizations, and entrepreneurs develop innovative solutions to complex social and environmental issues. With over 15 years of experience, he founded Doing Something Good and Collaboratory Melbourne, working with inspirational companies to build a shared understanding of key issues, make sense of social and technological trends, build capability to design and deliver innovative products and services, and support the development of collaborative, cross-sector partnerships. David graduated from the School for Social Entrepreneurs program in 2011, where he honed his skills in participatory event design, facilitation, strategic communications, digital communications and technology, social media, community engagement, human-centred design, lean startup, social innovation, social entrepreneurship, and community building.
