Candice Tubera

Candice Tubera is a mission-driven professional with a passion for community building and creating positive change. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer at EWF International, a company focused on building impactful, inclusive, and diverse leadership pipelines.24

Previously, Candice held several leadership positions at UPWARD Women, including:

1. Chief Operating Officer (September 2021 - September 2022)
2. Director of Corporate Programs & Fundraising (November 2020 - September 2021)
3. Director of Chapter Launches & Corporate Programs (September 2018 - September 2021)

In her role as Director of Chapter Launches & Corporate Programs, Candice was responsible for forming new chapter leadership teams, equipping them with necessary tools, working on membership outreach campaigns, and developing corporate sponsorships.2

Throughout her career at UPWARD Women, Candice played a crucial role in scaling the organization, launching nine global chapters, and creating empowering environments for women to advance their careers.13

Candice is also the founder of two nonprofit organizations:

1. WWOW the World: Focused on natural disaster relief and community outreach
2. R3demption Community: Aimed at equipping youth with leadership skills and strengthening family relationships

Before her nonprofit work, Candice was a Registered Respiratory Therapist for nearly 16 years and led a financial literacy business for 6 years.12
