Candice Smith is the Founder and CEO of Caregiven, a company she started in 2017 to support and empower caregivers navigating end-of-life care for their loved ones.13 Her inspiration for founding Caregiven came from her personal experience caring for her father during his end-of-life journey in 2016.1

In October 2022, Caregiven was acquired by Veratrus Health, a subsidiary of Delta Dental of Iowa.4 Following the acquisition, Candice transitioned to the role of Founder & Director, continuing to lead Caregiven's strategic direction and product development.3
