Camilo Rojas

Camilo Rojas is the Founder and President of SUNNY APP, a Colombian-based startup focused on accelerating the use of solar energy in Latin America.

He holds a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from Universidad Europea del Atlántico and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Surcolombiana.

Camilo has a diverse professional background, having worked in roles such as Solar Development at Patriot Energy Solutions, Ingeniero de operaciones at 3M Petro Supply SAS, as well as Wellsite Assistant positions at Pacific Exploration & Production Corp. and Petrominerales Colombia Ltd.

His experience also includes an internship in testing at Halliburton, showcasing a well-rounded understanding of the energy sector.

SUNNY APP integrates hardware and software to develop solar projects, with a focus on harnessing the huge potential for solar energy in Latin America.

The company has successfully installed significant solar systems in Colombia and envisions a future where solar energy and technology will play a vital role in powering the region.
