Cameron Cox

Cameron Jesse Cox is a results-oriented student affairs professional with a strong commitment to helping young individuals achieve their potential. With a proven track record of building and nurturing relationships, Cameron excels in supporting students through various challenges that may hinder their success. Possessing a servant leadership style, Cameron places a strong emphasis on student-centered approaches, social justice, strategic planning, and collaboration. Education-wise, Cameron has a diverse academic background, having studied at East China Normal University, obtained a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology at the same institution. Previously, Cameron held roles such as Assistant Dean of Students at Colby College, Student Support and Outreach Coordinator at Goucher College, School Counselor at Baltimore County Public Schools, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Cameron also served in various capacities at the University of Massachusetts, including as a Graduate Assistant, Program Coordinator, Outreach and Evaluations Coordinator, and Financial Aid Advisor at Uaspire. Furthermore, Cameron gained experience as a School Counselor Intern at Springfield Public Schools and as a Policy Analyst Intern at the Roosevelt Institute.
