Caitlin Braitsch

Caitlin Maynard is a seasoned professional with a background in undergraduate life science education, mentoring, and group management.

She excels in communication, accountability, and problem-solving, demonstrating a strong leadership track record evident in successful grant applications and manuscript writing.

Caitlin pursued her education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where she completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cardiac Development and Disease.

She also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology, General from Xavier University.

Currently, Caitlin holds the position of Assistant Professor of Instruction in Biological Sciences at The University of Texas at Dallas, showcasing her commitment to academia.

Her past professional roles include serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Paul Quinn College, an Instructor at The University of Texas at Dallas, and a Postdoctoral Researcher II at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

During her academic journey, Caitlin also gained experience as a Graduate Student at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center.
