Sam Gelin

Sam Gelin is an accomplished hotel developer and the founder of Craft Hospitality, a leading hospitality and experiential company. His most notable achievement is the creation of New York's famed MADE Hotel, which has been dubbed as one the Best New Hotels in New York and around the globe. MADE Hotel's F&B program is even regarded as the model for hotel restaurants focused on quality.

Throughout his career, Sam has crafted numerous unique food and beverage experiences that have attracted more than 50,000 patrons annually in over 11 cities around the world. His real estate perspective, particularly in workouts and turnarounds, made him a sought-after expert during the last financial crisis. Sam has been included in Hotels Magazine's Rising Star List of Top 20 People in the Hotel Industry under the age of 40 and was commended by Vanity Fair for his "passionately personal understanding of today's traveler."

Sam earned a degree in Hotel Real Estate Investments and Asset Management from Cornell University, as well as studied Finance, Economics at Fordham University and Juris Doctor at Seton Hall University School of Law.
