* Managed redesign of web site providing free access to medical research databases

* Authored and patented the Digital Distributed Software Licensing Architecture. DDSLA was jointly submitted to the Open Software Foundation (OSF) by Digital and Microsoft. This was one of the earliest distributed DRM (Digital Rights Management) systems and was deployed in the VMS and ULTRIX operating systems.
* Gained extensive experience in designing with RSA encryption and signature technologies

* Managed technology related aspects of strategic relationships between Digital and several large European customers including ITT, Alcatel, and CERN
* Defined and managed all CASEE projects including: The SUNSHINE software development environment, the Digital Time and Task Manager, the DECWindows Calendar, the DECWindows Help Widget, and the MEMEX Hyperinformation services
* Served as member of ECMA's TC 33, developing standards for Portable Common Tools Environments (PCTE) and represented Digital on the European Economic Commission's PCTE Interface Management Board.
* Specified and managed implementation of the VMS Terminal Fallback facility that provided character set translation as a mid-driver in the terminal driver.

* Defined and brought to market the first versions of ALL-IN-1 -- Digital's leadership office automation product and once the market leader with 54% marketshare. ALL-IN-1 and associated products generated over $2 billion per year in leveraged revenue
* Designed the ALL-IN-1 File Cabinet, the Text DSAB document interchange facilities, and the interface to X.400 email.
* Coordinated development of Kanji/ALL-IN-1 for the Japanese market
* Developed first client-server implementation of Notes -- NewNotes. (Both Digital's and Lotus' Notes products descend, in part, from this work.)
* Designed and implemented a "Country Kit" technology, based on dynamic loading of procedural code and resources, to facilitate the creation of localized products.

* Implemented an accounting and payroll package for a garment wholesaler
* Implemented communications and terminal emulation software for Digital's PDT -- one of the first desktop computers
* Implemented PECO, a graphical editor and slide-show viewer for VT100 terminals. PECO later became a component of Digital's WPS-Plus word processor
