Tyler Dean is a multi-faceted professional with diverse experience in venture capital, startups, and academia. He holds an undergraduate degree in Financial Economics and Data Science from Claremont McKenna College and has studied International Business and Spanish Fluency at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina in Buenos Aires. Tyler has also participated in numerous immersive programs such as the W.M. Keck Summer Science Immersion Program.

Throughout his career, Tyler has been involved in a variety of capacities across several organizations. He co-founded Popular Change, a company builder that helps early-stage startups, and previously worked for venture capital firms such as Point72 Ventures and GreatPoint Ventures. Tyler has also served as a visiting professor at HBCUvc and a founding partner at Contrary, among various other roles. His passion for breaking down barriers and increasing access to opportunities has also led him to mentor and support minorities and marginalized groups.
