Lauren Sammes

Lauren Sammes is a seasoned Chief Technology Officer known for her extensive experience in the chemicals industry.

Her expertise lies in Research and Development (R&D), Materials Science, Design of Experiments, Fuel Cells, and Project Management.

She holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Business Administration and Management, along with a PhD in Materials Chemistry.

Lauren pursued her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrochemistry at Imperial College London.

She also earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with Distinction in Business Administration and Management from the University of Waikato.

Furthermore, she completed her Bachelor's Degree with First Class Honors in Materials Chemistry at The University of Manchester.

Lauren Sammes has held various significant roles in prestigious organizations, including being a Senior Advisor at BraneCell Systems and a Consultant at Catalyte LLC.

She has also served as an Honorary Professor at the School of Chemistry at University of St Andrews and held the position of Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder at Low Emissions Resources Corporation.

Her contributions extend to being a Visiting Professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology, H.F. Coors Distinguished Professor in Ceramic Engineering at Colorado School of Mines, and UTC Chair Professor in Fuel Cell Engineering, and Director of the Connecticut Global Fuel Cell Center at University of Connecticut.
