Wish list for the new regime: Prove you are not "neo-cons": right-size the government and the balance sheet. Don't implement inflationary policy or spending. Deregulate for sure - but appropriately (protect defenseless irreplaceable resources like the planet). Don't just deregulate industry; also deregulate how the government treats citizens -religious groups should not dictate decisions for women. Prevent WWIII - you claim you have the playbook. Be smart about China and smarter about Mexico. Bonus points for cleaning up your rhetoric to serve as an example to the next generation (though I understand why you do it). I hope those of you with such plans - I know there are many - rise to power.
When you lose in politics, study the winning platform and constituents to understand them deeply. Shocked? Study harder. Keep fighting for your cause. But resist the temptation to fight just for fighting's sake. Pick your battles because further division only hurts the USA.
