Brittney Wendell is an impact-oriented leader with a background in championing programs for environmental sustainability, with a focus on grant writing, pollution prevention, and toxics reduction.
With over a decade of experience, Brittney has led Oregon's EcoBiz green business certification program for 5+ years, increasing funding significantly through strategic grant applications and partnerships at local, State, and Federal levels.
She has directed multiple projects funded by EPA grants, Oregon DEQ contracts, and local agencies, with two projects receiving US EPA Safer Choice Partner of the Year Awards in 2021 and 2023.
Brittney holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, and has held various leadership roles in organizations such as Bridgetown Mushrooms, Waste-Free Advocates, and Pollution Prevention Resource Center.
Her expertise lies in hazardous material management, zero waste practices, and guiding industries towards eco-friendly solutions.
