Group team lead for digital operations, product management, and strategy functions at leading LA-based cultural institution, NPR for Southern California. Manage direct reports and external vendors for web and mobile app development, digital marketing, SEO, paid media, reporting/analytics, and more. 

Owned digital product vision and roadmap, managed and championed key digital and mobile projects, working with IT, Content, Marketing, Communications, Events, Underwriting, and Membership Teams. Responsible for livestream and on-demand audio, off-platform content distribution to third party streaming platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Pandora, NPR/NPR One, Stitcher, Amazon, and more. 

Introduced new features to the KCRW iOS and Android mobile apps that led to double-digit year-over-year increase in monthly active users, new user acquisition, and engagement.

Launched new content templates to increase operational efficiency and simplify landing page creation process. Improved design of Music content and highest-trafficked website pages for enhanced editorial curation without requiring design and development effort.

Secured featured placement for KCRW content on third party platforms like Apple News' curated local news product and Spotify's curated podcast episode listings.

Doing things with 1s and 0s to support LA’s best DJs, storytellers, and reporters, on all things music, news, and culture.

Responsible for KCRW’s digital listening experiences, websites, mobile app (iOS & Android), off-platform content distribution, and smart speaker strategy, to infinity and beyond.

Launched KCRW Channel on Apple News in April 2020 to increase addressable audience for digital content consumption. Featured by Apple as a Los Angeles launch partner for Local News launch in July 2020.

Launched iOS and Android mobile app release in February 2020, including redesigned Home screen, new features for Event discovery, enhanced My KCRW screen to highlight Member Perk Events, and robust event tracking for improved analytics. 

Launched new Giveaway Portal in November 2019 to increase operational efficiency (previously managed by phone and email) and grow email acquisition sources.

Product managed the definition, design, and delivery of digital experiences for Ref customers, including enhancements to website information architecture and navigation, sort and filter functionality, product detail pages, checkout, size guide, and returns.

Managed communication with high-net-worth institutional clients and consultants for a global investment management firm with $20 billion in assets under management. 

By redesigning the format and content of professional reports and marketing collateral, I enhanced clients’ understanding of the firm’s products, performance, services and investment approach. Directing the in-house development of innovative client reporting software in both Canada and Australia, I coordinated 10 IT staff and senior management distributed across four international offices with limited supervision.

Elected to represent the over 42,000 students on the Vancouver campus, managing a $12 million budget and 15 business operations – from food services and catering to retail operations and a Whistler hostel – with net annual revenues of $1 million.

Spearheaded a $260,000 renovation of our main campus pub, led a successful referendum campaign to raise $85 million to construct a new Student Union Building, and lobbied the provincial government and university administration on post-secondary education issues. By introducing an innovative data management website, I streamlined financial administration for over 300 campus clubs and services.
