Brittany M. Ecker

Brittany M. Ecker is currently serving as the Interim Principal at Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Arizona. She has a robust background in education, with over 20 years of experience as a Theology teacher, admissions counselor, coach, and school administrator. Ecker has also held various leadership roles, including Director of Student Involvement and Activities at Seton Catholic Preparatory, and has worked in hospitality management within golf and country clubs.12

Ecker was born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, and has always aspired to be a teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theology and Pastoral Ministry from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, followed by a Master's degree in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology. She also holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership, with research focusing on revitalizing Catholic educational materials for high school students.24

Her career at Xavier College Preparatory began in May 2022, and she has been instrumental in fostering a commitment to service, leadership, and academic excellence within the school community.13
