Brian Nation is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the distilling industry. He pursued a Diploma in Distilling, Brewing, and Distilling at the Institute of Brewing and Distilling, furthering his expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from the University of Limerick. Brian also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Chemical and Process Engineering from Munster Technological University.

Throughout his career, Brian Nation has held key roles in various prestigious organizations. He previously served as the Chief Operating Officer & Master Distiller, as well as Master Distiller at O'Shaughnessy Distilling Co. His contributions extended to Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard, where he excelled in positions such as Master Distiller, Engineering Manager, Process Engineer, Project Engineer, and Environmental Engineer, showcasing his diverse skill set and experience.
