Brian Murray is the co-founder of Shift Capital, an impact urban real estate group focused on driving mission-oriented capital and resources into underserved communities, addressing urban challenges such as intergenerational poverty and community displacement.
With a background that includes roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers and two technology startups, Brian's career path led him to the Peace Corps and eventually to pursuing an MBA, where he discovered the significance of socially-minded development through impact investing.
Brian holds a BS in Accountancy from The College of New Jersey and an MBA from Yale School of Management. He is also a co-founder of the Arete Youth Foundation, which is dedicated to youth development in Roma communities in Bulgaria. Brian is a dedicated father of two daughters and a passionate advocate for creating positive change in communities.
