Business Intelligence Analyst

Collaborates with physicians and medical office staff to analyze/identify requirements and document recommendations for appropriate solutions related to the NextGen EHR system.

Participates in software development and administration of the NextGen EHR system. Utilizes established policies, standards, and procedures for version control, report development, practice builds, and software development life-cycle of the templates. Participates in the application security process, user setup, role definitions, and security configurations. Assists in installations, upgrades or patches to software releases.

Designs, creates, and maintains EHR reports as needed using SQL-based query and reporting tools. Comprehension and understanding of Crystal Reports functionality, providing EHR reporting solutions for business or incentive reporting.

Assists in SQL Server issues, design, upgrades, and backups. Team participant for SQL Server database tuning and performance methodologies. Construct queries to retrieve, update data and to create, alter, and drop constructs.

Provides assistance, training, clinical and technical guidance and troubleshooting to diverse clinical end-user groups.

NextGen EMR Support Analyst II

•	Enrolled CCC, and was awarded inclusion in the National Committee for Quality Assurance’s Heart and Stroke Recognition Program
 •	Designed and implemented clinical protocols to satisfy the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative’s 2010 specifications for additional Medicare reimbursement for Dr. Jamie Doucet
 •      Compiled a six year history of CCC’s preventative and interventional measures for its patients 
 •      I accomplished all of this while learning a new medical language, medical shorthand writing, perfecting the skill of obtaining Electrocardiograms (EKGs), Impedance Cardiograms (ICGs), finger-stick phlebotomy to analyze lipid panels, prothrombin times, and plasma glucose concentrations. I assisted in Bruce Protocol nuclear stress testing, Modified Bruce Protocol treadmill testing for cardiac rehab entry clearances, analyzing 24-hour EKG Holter monitors, and various other back-office clinical duties including lab call-backs, prior authorizations, drug refills, and phone triage
