In May 2023, Brian Gould joined Berkadia's D.C. Metro mortgage banking team, bringing his wealth of experience and insights to the organization. Prior to Berkadia, Brian held prominent roles in various well-established companies, including serving as a senior member of Chatham's capital advisory team. In this capacity, he provided valuable guidance to clients on loan placement, capital markets strategy, and JV equity.

One of Brian's notable achievements was overseeing the financing needs of JBG SMITH, a publicly-owned REIT in the Washington D.C. area, and its predecessor company, The JBG Companies. During his tenure, he facilitated borrowing over $1 billion annually for 9 consecutive years, highlighting his exceptional skills in managing complex financial transactions and relationships.
