By successfully delivering simple modern tools that solve real problems, Cozy connects hundreds of thousands of renters with rental owners and facilitates over $3B+ in rent payments a year.

Led the development of RPX (aka JanRain Engage) from inception to a successful product that powered sign-in for hundreds of thousands of websites. RPX is a service for websites to quickly add interoperable sign-in and social integrations from Google, Twitter, Facebook, Microsoft, and other OpenID providers. Owned the vision and roadmap, and worked closely with customers and partners to ship awesome implementations. RPX is Janrain's core product, for which it was acquired by Akamai in 2019.

Employee #2. Helped create the OpenID standard, powering interoperable authentication and identity for millions of online services.

Engineer on myOpenID.com, the largest independent OpenID provider on the web. Wrote the open source Ruby OpenID library, which has been distributed with Mac OSX and powered authentication for tens of thousands of websites. Authored technical documents and example code that fostered early OpenID adoption.
