Eric Steinberger
Eric Steinberger is a young and talented individual who has made significant strides in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and climate change advocacy. Since the age of 15, Eric has been passionate about AI research and went on to work with some of the top organizations in the field such as Facebook AI and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During his time with these organizations, he focused on developing deep reinforcement learning algorithms and models for Sub-Saharan Africa's loan distribution and fertilizer. The state-of-the-art algorithm he developed, called "DREAM," is still in use today.
Eric's passion for fighting climate change led him to prioritize climate change over AI and co-founded ClimateScience during his first year at the University of Cambridge. It is a team of over 200 volunteers who work to create free, science-backed, and engaging educational resources on climate change solutions. ClimateScience has grown exponentially, working with schools and communities globally and securing funding from Google's former CEO.
Apart from his work with ClimateScience, Eric runs Steinberger Consulting, a management consulting business that helps cleantech and AI startups grow fast, build good products and hire well. Eric's experience and knowledge in AI research, sustainability, software engineering, and leadership has made him a sought-after consultant.
Eric's background is a testament to what hard work, determination, and a passion for a cause can achieve. It would be exciting to see how Eric's journey unfolds, given his impressive achievements thus far.
