Brian Dempsey

Brian Dempsey is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in both the public and private sectors. He accumulated 10 years of experience at Microsoft, specializing in sales and marketing. Prior to his tenure at Microsoft, he successfully managed Development Shops, overseeing multiple Dev Leads and spearheading the transition of 1500 government schools into paperless offices during the mid-1980s.

With a keen eye for market opportunities, Brian played a crucial role in expanding the Australian market for personal taxation software in the early 1990s. His approach to leadership emphasizes the importance of hiring and nurturing talented individuals to build successful teams, a philosophy that has guided him throughout his extensive career in the ICT industry.

Brian has a solid educational foundation, having studied Visual Basic and programming languages at Microsoft Institute, pursued a Master's in Educational Administration at Monash University, and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from the same institution.
