In her Master's program, Tanaya focused on studying first generation college students and mentoring programs through an asset based community development model. Her strengths lie in being a learner, analytical thinker, achiever, disciplined, and having input, which she effectively utilizes in leadership roles to build teams, analyze data, and collaborate with partners.
With exceptional executing and strategic thinking skills, Tanaya excels in providing solution-focused approaches to overcome challenges. She actively seeks out opportunities to engage and exchange knowledge with like-minded individuals who share her enthusiasm for higher education.
Tanaya's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in International Agribusiness from Arizona State University's W. P. Carey School of Business, as well as studies in Engineering (Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician) at Chandler/Gilbert Community College, and a Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Pedagogy from Arizona State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Throughout her career, Tanaya has held various positions at Arizona State University, including Director, Assistant Director, Program Manager, Specialist, Senior Articulation Specialist in Academic Transfer Credit Solutions, which was formerly known as Transfer Systems Development. She has also worked as a Lead Program Manager at Best Buddies International, Transition Facilitator at MARC Community Resources, LTD., and Unit Manager at GC Services Limited Partnership.
