Brendan Thorn

Brendan Thorn is an accomplished engineer with a diverse background in software, data, industrial optimization, physics, and math. His expertise spans a range of industries, including aerospace, medical technology, and manufacturing. Thorn studied physics and mathematics at the University of Victoria, where he conducted mathematical research as an NSERC USRA pupil and developed software for the BC Cancer Agency. He pursued a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, focusing on neural prosthetics, at McGill University, where he collaborated with a team of graduate research assistants. After graduation, he worked as a Medical Physics Software Intern at Stanford University before joining A³ by Airbus as a Data and Simulations Software Engineer. Thorn then took his talent to the Airbus Manufacturing Engineering team as a Business Methods Engineer, where he develops simulations to streamline production and optimize industrial processes.
