Bragi Sveinsson

Bragi Sveinsson is a Research Fellow at the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
He is a part of the Low-Field Imaging Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Rosen, focusing on the development of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.
Bragi Sveinsson completed his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University and was a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Body Magnetic Resonance group at the same institution.
His research interests encompass steady-state diffusion weighted imaging, imaging near metallic implants, and MRI at low fields, with a keen interest in utilizing technology and physics to tackle medical challenges.
Previously, Bragi Sveinsson held the role of Quantitative Risk Analyst at Landsbankinn and was an Associate of the Department of Physics at Harvard University.
