Brad Harrison is the Founder and Managing Partner at Scout Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that focuses on investing in frontier and dual-use technologies built by hard-to-access founders. With a background steeped in military training, Harrison has had an illustrious career that spans across Fortune 500 companies, venture-backed entities, and various entrepreneurial ventures. He earned his undergraduate degree in Theoretical Economics from the United States Military Academy, where he was a Cadet with the B4/F2 companies. After graduation, Harrison served as an Infantry Officer, Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault officer in the U.S. Army.

Harrison's impressive list of accomplishments includes graduate school at MIT's Sloan School of Management, where he studied New Product and Venture Development. Known for his expertise in venture capital, business development, strategic planning, negotiations, private equity, start-ups, and entrepreneurial ventures, Harrison also has a wealth of experience in search, contextual advertising, and military operations.

Prior to founding Scout Ventures, Harrison served as the Managing Partner at BHV and Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Distribution at WhenU.com. He also worked as the Director of Media Strategy and Development at America Online, and was the Founder and Managing Director of the Gladiator Group. Harrison is a proud father to two children, Elvis and Scout.
