Brad Hogarth

Brad Hogarth is a versatile musician, conductor, and educator based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Conducting at San Francisco State University, Brad also leads the Art Haus Collective and the Contra Costa Wind Symphony.

Brad's musical journey includes conducting a variety of projects, from classical to contemporary, in unconventional venues like the Burning Man festival.

He is actively involved in guest conducting Grammy-winning composer Mason Bates' Mercury Soul projects and various ensembles across the Bay Area.

Alongside his conducting roles, Brad is an accomplished trumpeter, performing with esteemed orchestras such as the San Francisco Symphony, Opera, and Ballet.

Brad's educational background includes degrees from the Eastman School of Music and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he studied trumpet performance and music education.

He has held multiple teaching positions at institutions like the Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
