Bonnie Koenig

Bonnie Koenig is a dedicated professional with a passion for helping NGOs engage internationally. She is known for her skills as a convener, facilitator, strategist, and network weaver. A published author and blogger, Bonnie is a committed life-long learner. She is the founder of the Testing Change project.

Education wise, Bonnie studied International Development at the School for International Training. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sport Science with a focus on African Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Additionally, she pursued a Master of Arts in Education from The George Washington University.

Throughout her career, Bonnie has held significant roles in various organizations. She was a Presidential Management Fellow at USAID and worked with the Office of South and Central Asia Affairs at the International Resources Group. She also contributed to the Office of the Coordinator for Reconstruction and Stabilization at the U.S. Department of State. Earlier in her journey, she served as an English Teacher and Leadership Trainer as a consultant, gained experience as an Intern at the International Affairs Council Raleigh, and worked as a Research Assistant at Anti-Corruption Coalition Uganda.
