Bob Talanian is an accomplished drug discovery scientist and organizational leader with expertise in neuroscience and immunology, and experience in biologics and small molecules. Talanian received his PhD in pharmacology from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and his BS in Chemistry from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Talanian brings several years of leadership experience to the table, having held various director and senior director positions at AbbVie and Abbott, leading departments focused on neuroscience in vitro pharmacology, immunology molecular and cellular pharmacology, and biochemistry. Talanian's experience also extends to academia, where he was an NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

As Senior Director of Neuroinflammation and Neuroscience In Vitro Pharmacology at AbbVie, Talanian is responsible for leading the discovery and development of new treatments for neurologic and immunologic diseases. His extensive expertise in drug discovery and organizational leadership make him an invaluable asset to AbbVie and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole.
