Bjørn Glavind is a seasoned entrepreneur, venture builder, and advisor with extensive experience in health technologies, medical devices, impact investing, and stakeholder management. Glavind is the COO & Associate Co-founder at Neurescue, the first computer-aided aortic occlusion catheter aimed at reducing preventable deaths from cardiac arrest. With a firm commitment to changing the status quo by bringing early-stage technologies and innovations from idea to market, Glavind has been actively advising startup ecosystems, investors, and private and public growth vehicles.
Glavind's impressive track record spans several industries and markets, including the United States, Europe, and Asia, where he has established an extensive network. Besides health tech, he is passionate about promoting green and renewable tech, blockchain technology, conservation tech, and community initiatives, CRISPR, and other SDG & impact-investing related topics. He is a fan of networking and helping others and leads the MedTech Meetup in Copenhagen, a networking meetup for entrepreneurs, investors, and MedTech enthusiasts.
A graduate of Copenhagen Business School with a bachelor's degree in International Business, Glavind has also completed several courses in Free market studies at CEPOS AKADEMI, Startup Bootcamp and Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies at INSEAD, and Undergraduate Courses in International Business at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
