Billy Meyers

Billy Meyers is the Principal Solutions Architect for Web eCommerce at Panera Bread, a position he has held since November 2023. Based in Greater St. Louis, he is focused on transforming digital commerce by leading cross-functional teams and implementing innovative web solutions to enhance eCommerce experiences. His work involves designing and implementing scalable architectural designs that optimize functionality and user experience in online ordering systems.

Prior to this role, Meyers served as the Director of Technology Innovation at Panera Bread from October 2020 to November 2023, where he oversaw various technology projects, including IoT coffee monitoring and voice AI integration in drive-thrus. He has also held positions as a Senior Manager and Lead Software Engineer, where he led the redevelopment of Panera’s online ordering application and migrated its technology stack to more modern frameworks like VueJS and NodeJS.

Meyers has a strong background in software engineering, having started his career at Panera as a Junior Developer in 2013. His educational background includes studies at Duke University, and he is passionate about leveraging technology to revolutionize the culinary journey at Panera Bread.1
