Bill Warren

Bill Warren is a seasoned nonprofit development executive with over 25 years of experience in fundraising and institutional advancement.2 He served as the Associate Vice President for Institutional Partnerships within University Advancement at The Catholic University of America from March 2020 to March 2022.1 In this role, he provided leadership for two key areas:

1. Overseeing giving from institutional donors, including corporations, foundations, and government entities.
2. Helping to lead the successful fulfillment of the Light The Way Campaign.

Warren's responsibilities included:

• Managing the corporate and foundations team and research support professionals embedded in the Schools.
• Working towards an annual goal of $65 million+, with individual schools and business lines under his supervision responsible for $6-10 million annually.
• Planning and articulating priorities for future campaigns, working with the cabinet, deans, and volunteer leadership.

Prior to his role at The Catholic University of America, Warren held positions at:

• National Geographic Society as Vice President of Development (January 2015 - April 2016)1
• The Venetoulis Institute for Local Journalism as Chief Philanthropy Officer (announced in February 2022)23
