Jessica Taylor Bellamy is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles, California, known for her work in painting, sculpture, and video. Born in 1992 in Whittier, CA, she explores complex themes such as utopia and dystopia, human-nature relationships, and the interplay between fantasy and reality. Her artistic practice is informed by her personal background, being the daughter of an Ashkenazi Jewish mother and an Afro-Cuban father, which influences her exploration of concepts related to home and landscape.123
Bellamy received her Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the Roski School of Art at the University of Southern California in 2022, following a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the same institution in 2014. Her recent solo exhibition, "Endnotes for Sunshine," marked her debut with the Anat Ebgi gallery, and her works have been showcased in various prominent galleries, including UTA Artist Space and GRIMM.124
