Bill Warner

Bill Warner is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for starting and building great companies, with a successful track record spanning over several decades in various industries.

He founded Avid Technology, Inc. in 1987 and played a key role in establishing it as the world leader in video, film, and music editing systems.

In 1991, Bill co-founded Wildfire Communications, a pioneering company that developed speech-based electronic assistant technology, eventually acquired by Orange, PLC in 2000.

Furthermore, in 1999 he started FutureBoston, known for its advanced mapping tools that eventually evolved into the Boston Atlas.

Bill's commitment to fostering startup ecosystems led him to create the Collaboration Space at Warner Research in 2002, now known as the Brickyard Collaboration Space, emphasizing the importance of shared workspaces for startups.
