Bill's educational background includes an MBA in Finance & Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS in Mechanical Engineering, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Throughout his career, Bill Pegues has held various key positions, including Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, Director of Project Finance at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, and Senior Investment Officer at the U.S. Department of Energy Loan Programs.
