Additionally, he successfully petitioned the UN to officially designate 8 June as World Ocean Day.
Bill collaborates closely with the World Ocean Day Youth Advisory Council, which has 140 members and alumni from 60 countries, to enhance the impact of World Ocean Day year-round. His passion lies in fostering collaborations for a more just, equitable, and sustainable society, along with a healthy planet.
