Betsy Rowbottom is a talented business development professional and storyteller with extensive experience in the film industry. After earning her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies, as well as a degree in Communications - Radio, TV, Film, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Betsy moved to Chicago to represent commercial film directors. She then made her way to Los Angeles, where she worked for a boutique VC firm, and eventually landed at a tech startup. However, the lure of the mountains called her to Telluride, CO, where she worked for the Telluride Film Festival for five years. Today, Betsy remains committed to the festival and enjoys annual treks to the mountains to watch the world's best storytellers showcase their work. When not enjoying the picturesque beauty of Telluride, Betsy is also passionate about yoga, lake life, and photography, which she shares with her dog on Instagram.
