Beth Martin

Beth Martin is a dedicated individual passionate about enhancing equity, connectivity, and livability in Houston.

She actively contributes to her community by serving on Houston's Bicycle Advisory Committee and as a Board Member for Your Houston, a local nonprofit with a focus on improving the quality of life for Houstonians.

Beth Martin holds a Leadership Institute for Nonprofit Executives Certificate from Rice University and studied Political Science both at Rice University for her B.A. and Journalism, Political Science at Northwestern University.

With an extensive professional background, Beth has served in various roles including Executive Director at Houston BCycle, Deputy Chief of Staff at the Office of State Rep. Gene Wu in the Texas House of Representatives, Campaign Coordinator at Gene for Texas, Online Coordinator at Texas Organizing Project, Data Management at Bill White for Texas Campaign, Field Organizer at Harris County Democratic Party, House Party Coordinator, and Campaign Manager Assistant at Ellen Cohen Campaign, among others.

Furthermore, she has gained valuable experience as a Canvasser and Field Manager in Training at TexPIRG and as a Public Information Officer Intern at Austin Travis County MHMR.
