Beth Duckles

Beth Duckles is an accomplished organizational sociologist with a passion for solving complex problems. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Anthropology from Earlham College and her Master's and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Arizona. Throughout her career, Beth has held various research and academic positions at institutions such as Bucknell University, Portland State University, and the U.S. Department of Energy as a AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow. Beth's skills as a researcher, social scientist, ethnographer, storyteller, collaborator, and community-builder have assisted individuals seeking to create a positive impact in the world. Recently, Beth founded Open Post Academics, which offers a virtual community for academics experiencing underemployment. She is also a former senior research consultant at Insightful, LLC and a former research fellow at The Outlaw Center for Immersive Behavioral Science at Concordia University-Portland.
