Bert Amato

Bert Amato boasts an impressive entrepreneurial journey spanning over 25 years in software engineering, product strategy, design, investment, and management within the technology sector.

He gained recognition as the co-founder of Delrina Corporation, particularly renowned for its innovative communications software WinFax, where he held the role of Chief Technical Officer, overseeing product strategy and research and development.

During his tenure at Delrina, Bert also served as a Director and Executive Vice President of the company, before its acquisition by Symantec Corporation, where he continued as a Vice President.

Prior to his time at Delrina, Bert contributed his technical expertise at the IBM Canada Research Laboratory and played a key role as a co-founder and executive officer at Schematix Computer Systems Inc., a software and consulting firm.

Bert Amato's educational background includes a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Honours from the University of Toronto.
