    Bennett Lee, CFA, CAIA, is an adept professional in venture capital and private equity investments, boasting over a decade of experience in the finance industry.

    Throughout his career, Bennett has engaged in various investment banking, equity research, Private Equity, and Venture Capital endeavors across sectors like Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare, and F&B.

    He has effectively managed and executed a significant number of cross-border IPOs, PE/VC, restructuring, and M&A transactions, with a total value surpassing US$400 million.

    Currently serving as the Investment Director and Head of Investments at Velocity Ventures, he specializes in growth equity investments within the South East Asia region.

    Previously, Bennett held the position of Investment Director at Caber Partners, focusing on assessing and executing Private Equity opportunities in the Financial Services and Technology sectors in Asia.

    Prior to that, he worked as an Investment Associate at Golden Equator Capital, a mid-market Private Equity and Venture Capital firm, concentrating on growth equity investments in various industries across Southeast Asia.

    His earlier roles include positions at UOB and BNP Paribas, where he undertook responsibilities in Equity Research and Investment Banking, respectively.

    Bennett's educational background includes a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and his executive education was completed at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.

    Moreover, he is a holder of the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.

    Apart from his primary roles, Bennett actively contributes to the finance community as the CAIA Singapore Chapter Executive (Private Equity & Venture Capital) and also serves on the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.

    In addition to his professional engagements, Bennett has been associated with numerous organizations, including being a Mentor at Plug and Play Tech Center, and a Mentor and Advisor at the Singapore Tourism Board.

    He also contributed as a judge at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) for the Singapore Fintech Awards in 2018.
