Benjamin Anderson

Benjamin Anderson is an experienced healthcare executive and nationally recognized leader in rural health and health equity. He currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System in Kansas.1 Prior to this role, he was the Vice President for Rural Health and Hospitals at the Colorado Hospital Association for nearly four years4, where he provided leadership and direction in developing and executing rural strategies, advocating for rural hospitals and health systems, and fostering strategic partnerships to improve rural Coloradans' health.13
Anderson has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and non-profit administration.2 Before joining the Colorado Hospital Association, he served as CEO of Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas, for six and a half years.12 During his tenure there, he led the organization through significant growth, expanding access to coordinated primary care and specialty services.1

Anderson holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Business Administration from Drury University, as well as a Master of Health Care Delivery Science degree from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.1
