David Zega

David Zega is an accomplished professional with an extensive background in public policy, advocacy, civic engagement, and political operations. With an MPA and MSW from the University of Pennsylvania, and a BSW from Wheelock College, Zega is an expert in social psychology and political science. Zega has worked as the Director of Strategic Planning for the Office of the Superintendent at The School District of Philadelphia, where he was responsible for driving strategic initiatives that resulted in significant improvements in student outcomes. Before this, Zega was the Chief Operating Officer at Versa HQ, a startup that was acquired by Change.org, and National Political Director at ElectNext. In his roles in politics, he was Campaign Manager at Kromer for Sheriff and Reelect State Representative Babette Josephs, and was a Political Leaders Fellow at the Center for Progressive Leadership. Zega has also worked with the City of Philadelphia as Chief of Staff at the Office of the Deputy Managing Director for Special Needs Housing and Policy & Legislative Coordinator at the same office. He also served as a Program Director at Phillips Brooks House Association Inc. Zega's expertise spans across a broad range of topics in politics, public policy, and advocacy.
