Ben Yager

Ben Yager is currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance & Operations for Pearson's Corporate Functions, overseeing strategic planning and operational management for a substantial budget and a large employee base.

With a background in mergers and acquisitions, Ben has played key roles in transforming companies like Pearson PLC by investing in high-growth EdTech businesses and managing global asset carve-outs.

Previously, he held positions at BBC Studios, Deloitte, KPMG, Google UK, Nova Founders Capital, and several other notable organizations, where he gained extensive experience in strategic projects, M&A advisory, and technology.

Ben's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accountancy & Management from the University of Nottingham, along with professional certifications from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.

Beyond his corporate roles, Ben is actively involved in mentoring startups, public speaking, and managing his own ventures, showcasing his passion for innovative and challenging business environments.
