Ben Schumer
Ben Schumer is a highly experienced technical recruiter and employer branding expert with an impressive background of leadership roles in expanding companies, including Oscar Health, Canary, and Cockroach Labs. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Business from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and he developed his skills further by studying College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program at Christian Brothers High School.
Before joining Cockroach Labs as a Senior Technical Recruiter, Ben had his own consulting business and served as a Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting at Oscar Health, where he oversaw recruitment efforts, managed the hiring process, and optimized the candidate experience. As a seasoned technical recruiter, Ben is dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with candidates, enhancing workforce diversity, and improving organizational performance.
