Ben-Saba Hasan

Ben-Saba Hasan is a highly accomplished professional who has had a successful career at Walmart, starting in 2008 and retiring in July 2022, serving in various key roles.

During his time at Walmart, Ben held the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Global Culture, Diversity Equity & Inclusion Officer (CDO), where he was instrumental in shaping Walmart's culture, promoting diversity and inclusion, and enhancing the company's reputation as a desirable workplace.

Before his role as CDO, Ben served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Services at Walmart Technology, overseeing strategy development, communication, innovation, vendor management, and quality assurance.

Prior to joining Walmart, Ben gained valuable experience during his 11-year tenure at Dell Inc., where he ultimately served as the Vice President of Corporate & Product Group Information Technology, leading diverse teams across multiple locations globally.

Ben's impressive educational background includes an MBA from Amberton University, a BBA with a computer science concentration from Temple University, and completion of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

He has been recognized for his accomplishments with awards such as the 2006 Temple University Fox School IT Award for Distinguished Alumni and the 2019 Most Influential Diversity Star award.

Ben has also been actively involved in various organizations, serving as a board member for reputable entities like the Walmart Foundation, Catalyst Board of Advisors, Ron Clark Academy, United Negro College Fund, and Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce.
