Ben Riggs is a seasoned winemaker with over two decades of experience in the industry. He honed his craft at the iconic 'W2' Vineyards in McLaren Vale under the guidance of Mr. Richard Gregory Trott. His global adventures as a Flying-Winemaker took him to renowned wine regions like Napa Valley, Bordeaux, Greece, Italy, and the South of France. Inspired by his mentor, Mr. Tony Parkinson, and the picturesque McLaren Vale, Ben embarked on his winemaking journey at Penny's Hill Winery, alongside Messrs. Beal (Snr. and Jnr.). With the establishment of 'Mr. Riggs' Vineyard, Ben embraced his own winemaking legacy, crafting exquisite Shiraz that embodies the essence of McLaren Vale.
